Built in 1890, this remarkable home at 917 E Silver Springs Boulevard was originally the residence of Annie and Frank Teague, a prominent local businessman. The house stands as one of the finest examples of Queen Anne-style architecture in Ocala. Known for its elegant design, this architectural style—popularized in the United States after the 1876 Centennial Exposition—features wraparound verandas, ornate woodwork, turned columns, and scrollwork that continue to captivate visitors more than a century later.

Beautifully Restored And Reimagined

Throughout the years, the building has served a variety of residential and commercial purposes and even made appearances on Ocala’s historic Ghost Tours, adding to its unique character and charm.

Now beautifully restored and reimagined, this iconic three-story home is owned and operated by Veronica Lake, a respected and prominent businesswoman in the Ocala community. Veronica is also the founder of Diamond Suites Ocala (located at 7494 SW 60th Ave, Suite A), and is preparing to open her newest location: Diamond Suites Crystal River, Florida.

Each of Veronica’s properties shares the same vision to offer a variety of health, beauty, and wellness professionals all under one roof, in an environment that supports independent business owners and enhances the client experience.
